When a Transfers line is received short — fewer units accepted than ordered — "Receive & label" surfaces the expected-vs-accepted shortfall right next to the line. A partial receipt is visible before you print a single label, never hidden after the fact.

That means you decide what to do about the gap on purpose: label what arrived now, and keep a clear record of what is still outstanding for the next box.

Multiple boxes for one Transfer?

When a single Transfers arrives across several shipments, merge them into one label batch. A variant that appears in more than one box is summed into a single row with the total received quantity — nothing dropped, no line lost, so the count on the shelf matches the count on the manifest.

Open "Receive & label" and pick that shipment to see the expected-vs-accepted shortfall.
Print labels for exactly what arrived in this box.
When the next box lands, repeat — or use the reconciliation reprint to print only the new and under-labelled units.
Download the manifest CSV for your records and for put-away.
